As much as I love content creating, the risk that the internet could disappear tomorrow makes me always want to hold on to my talent and expertise in hairdressing even more. That and the fact that I do not function well spending a long time at home, I need human interaction, to feel busy, needed and resourceful. If I have a few days at home I feel so unmotivated and deflated, have you had these feelings before?
When I was on maternity leave, I slowly went into myself, then the second I was back working with my clients I felt like a weight had lifted, like I was funny again and had my personality back. I thrive in an environment around others with positive energy. I am so lucky that I have a job that I love and that makes me feel good, and a job that gives me freedom to work around being a mum and content creating.
That’s what is making me want to build my clients abroad, I love hairdressing and I love being in the sun! The dream would be to have a client base in the UK, Dubai and Spain, I considered this last year but I was so busy with work to pursue this at that time, and after my holiday in Dubai last month, I want to try and make this dream a reality.
I think as humans we take on so much, in this generation more than others. Years ago the woman’s job was the home and children, now we have the home, children, work, creation, fitness, hobbies, self care, healing and all the rest that goes with it, it's a lot to balance. If you ever feel like life is a lot, don’t beat yourself up, go outside, walk in the trees and forests, take your shoes off and put your feet on the earth or in the water. Take a minute to breathe, live in that very moment. I promise it helps!
