Gratitude changed my life

Gratitude changed my life

The main thing you need to know is that gratitude changed my life. We are going to cover everything from my career, mindset & how I manifest. But rule number one is always gratitude.

If you emit high-frequency vibrations, you will attract positive experiences and people into your life. Conversely, if you emit low-frequency vibrations, you'll attract negative experiences and people (dailydish.co.uk).

The easiest way to get into a positive high frequency mindset is gratitude. I wake up every single morning & say what I’m grateful for.

In my job I speak to people who are going through bad & who are going through good. And the ones who have the most gratitude & the best outlook are 95% the ones who are going through something bad.

Example - in one day I had a client who was the happiest most positive person I had ever met. At the end of the appointment she told me she had just recovered from cancer & had nearly died. Her health was still extremely bad. She was single, jobless & living with her parents. But she was the happiest & kindest person I had ever met.

That afternoon my next client - healthy, a new mum, long term happy relationship, own home & going on holiday the next day. She spent the whole appointment down & moaning about how stressful going on holiday was.

My point - it is you & only you that controls how you feel. If you are grateful for every little thing you do, how can you be sad?! You can’t. If you look at being grateful for waking up with even only a roof over your head that is more than a lot of people. What one takes for granted another dreams of. You have to always take a step back and see how lucky you are. We must be grateful for each thing and each day.

I wake up every morning and am grateful for a healthy perfect little boy, the chance to be his mummy. For a roof over our head, a job that pays the bills, food in our fridge. Everything after that is just an absolute bonus.

Gratitude is what will set your positive mindset up for the day. And that will keep those positive vibrations bouncing back all day.

A book that changed my life is Solve for happy by Mo Gawdat.

This book is a must for anyone wanting to change their mindset. It taught me the way to happiness is living in the now. We have no control over the past & no control over the future. We can only control the now. And in any life situation it’s true. I am only stressed thinking of something in the past which I can’t change. And the future which I can’t control. Focusing on the now also makes you appreciate what you have right at that minute. In the book Mo speaks about a friend who is dying. He says ‘I am very sad that you are going through this my friend. But today you are alive. Today you have the opportunity to enjoy life and be happy’.
A close friend of mine has recently been told she doesn’t have long left. She is only young and she is an amazing person. She asked could I do her hair & I apologised and said I couldn’t as her treatment had made her hair weak. Her reply made me smile. She said I just want to feel good while I’m here. During her appointment I had to completely hold back my tears. I couldn’t imagine being in her situation. But she made me so happy. Because she is focusing on the now. And creating memories and living life to the fullest with her family each day.

Gratitude can come into play every day. In the smallest things from having a roof over our head, a job, food in our fridge and waking up with our child.

You could have the worst day but I promise if you stop for a second, close your eyes. Deep breathes in & out 10 times. Now focus on one thing you have right now that makes you happy. Think of how this thing makes you feel. How you would feel if you lost it. Hold on to the emotion, the feeling, the thought. And think how grateful you are for this thing. And just focusing your Brain on this one thing. You will not be able to think of anything else. And that smile, that happy feeling. Hold on to that. Gratitude, even in the smallest of things is the greatest super power.

If you struggle reading a book why not ebook. I like to ebook via the books app on iPhone. I’ll listen every time I drive in my car so even 30 minutes a day. When ever I am down or feeling demotivated a book completely changes my perspective xxx
